North and South Shuswap Community Resources

Our vision is to provide a network of programs and services to enhance the lives of children, youth and families living in the North and South Shuswap.

Our mission is to build on existing programs and services and to develop other programming to bridge the service gaps for children, youth and families in the North and South Shuswap.

About Us

We provide programming for children and families living in the 17 communities in the North and South Shuswap Region. These communities include: Tappen, Sunnybrae, Skimmikin, White Lake, Notch Hill, Eagle Bay, Wild Rose Bay, Blind Bay, Sorrento, Balmoral, Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Magna Bay, St. Ives, Anglemont and Seymour Arm.

By providing programming locally our hope is that more families can access programming. We understand that travelling to Salmon Arm for programming is not a possibility for many families from our communities. Access to local, community based and community specific programming will help to ensure that all of our families, children and youth have the opportunity to access resources, develop relationships and create positive long term social and community supports.
